Additional LED strips can be attached to signal amplifiers. In order for the amplifiers to control the additional LEDs identically, they need the signal from the controller on the input side.
Thin, simple cables can be laid from the controller to the signal amplifier, as only the so-called PWM signal and hardly any power is transmitted here.
Using amplifiers without an upstream controller makes no sense because the amplifiers need an input signal and cannot be controlled by a remote control or a wall switch.
Note: Signal amplifiers can only amplify the signal from the LED controller, nothing else. This amplified signal can be made available for other LED strips. All connected LED strips behave in the same way.
