The colour red can activate, warm and stimulate the circulation. This effect – if very bright lighting is chosen – can be used wonderfully as indirect lighting behind screens or for works of art. However, the red light colour of your LED strips should be used with caution and not only because of its reputation. If it is too bright and intense in the field of vision, the relaxing, calming lighting effect is quickly turned into the opposite, the light then evoking tension and scratching. Used discreetly, however, the light source can create wonderfully atmospheric worlds of well-being in living spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms.

The 12 V version is best suited for smaller installations; for larger ones, the 24 V versions are more suitable. Due to the low voltage of both types of models, power supply units are required to convert the 230 V from the socket into the appropriate voltage. High-power strips offer particularly bright light that illuminates very large areas with brightness thanks to the large beam angle. The dimmer is the accessory that enables individual brightness settings to suit your taste. It is switched behind the controller – it is operated with a radio remote control or a wall switch.
