Dimmable LED driver (phase on and phase off)

Here you can find our dimmable LED drivers (phase on and phase off). The drivers are triac dimmable. If you would like to dim your LED lighting, there are various possibilities. We distinguish, for example, between phase-angle dimmers and phase-cut dimmers. For this, however, you need a suitable dimmable LED driver. The first possibility is with the phase-angle dimmer, with which the voltage is switched on with a delay at each zero crossing of the sine during the half-wave, thus reducing the consumption voltage. The second way to dim the LED lighting is similar, but with the phase-angle dimmer, the voltage is switched on at the zero crossing and then switched off again at the half-wave. The LED lamps require direct current, which means that you also need a dimmable LED driver that generates direct current from alternating current. If you connect a non-dimmable LED power supply in between, there is a possibility that you will destroy either the lamp, the wall dimmer or perhaps both.
